Playa Los Cocos is located near Playa Girón village on the southern coast of the Bay of Pigs, approximately 150km from Havana. From Playa Girón village, it's a short drive or walk east along the coastal road. If coming from Havana, drive south via the Autopista Nacional through Jagüey Grande, then follow signs to Playa Girón; total journey time is about 3 hours. From Cienfuegos, head northeast for roughly 90km. Rental cars or private taxis are recommended, as public transport is limited. The beach is accessible along the main coastal road connecting Playa Larga and Playa Girón.

Playa Los Cocos itself has limited on-site facilities, though small beach shacks occasionally sell drinks and snacks. For restaurants and substantial meals, head to nearby Playa Girón village (a few kilometers west), which offers several eateries serving fresh seafood and Cuban cuisine. Accommodation is available in Playa Girón through casas particulares (homestays) and small hotels, or in Playa Larga further north. Most visitors stay in one of these villages and visit Los Cocos as a day trip. Bring water, snacks, and sun protection, as amenities directly at the beach are minimal.
