A dozen people make it feel full, and most arrive knowing they'll spend the day in the water rather than sprawled on towels. Snorkelers fin along the rock edges where Mediterranean damselfish dart through the shadows and sea urchins cluster in the crevices. The clarity makes every underwater detail vivid: the ripple patterns in the sand, the way light bends through the surface, the sudden appearance of a mullet school gliding past.
