Mid-morning, you'll see local mothers arranging inflatable rings for toddlers while fishermen haul nets onto weathered wooden platforms. The Adriatic rolls in gentle sets, shallow enough to wade fifty metres out and still touch bottom. Pine shade fringes the landward side, and the scent of resin mixes with salt when the breeze swings west.
